The chords
How to play it
Downstrokes
Big downstrokes, one per beat, with a slight dig on beat one. Hit harder in the chorus.
Down and up
Down, down-up, up-down-up for the verses, then switch to heavy downstrokes when the chorus kicks in.
Make it easier
The record uses richer versions of these chords. Plain Em, C, G and D sound right. For a closer match later, put F sharp in the bass of the D.
Four chords and plenty of attitude, for anyone who wants to play loud.

Learn with a teacher
A teacher hears what you can't: the strum that's rushing, the finger muting a string, the habit that will hold you back in six months. No website or app can do that part.
I'm Daniel, aka WCHIWA: a producer, composer and guitarist, and I've taught thousands of students. Bring any song you love and I'll arrange it to your level on the spot. No grade books, no fixed curriculum, and when you're ready, we record it in my studio. In London, Maidenhead and online.
